Jewish Spiritual Yoga
Shira Yoga is a relatively new form of Yoga that integrates breathing, movement, and the chanting of Jewish texts (Piyutim) that are set to global Jewish melodies. It is a surprisingly effective synthesis of traditions, and requires only minimal familiarity with Yoga in order to participate. To start, we would likely hold a 90 minute class once a month, at a mutually agreed upon time, possibly on Shabbat.
